• I just finished this book. Meco Brown has captured a side of erotica that is priceless! His writing ability and imagination is phenomenally magical in that I believed I was watching this story physically take place. It leaves you wanting more and I'm biting my nails waiting for book 2!!
• A warning would have been appreciated.

• I mistakenly came across this book and originally thought it was full of smut and even assumed that it was another Fifty Shades of Grey copycat. After reading the synopsis I wanted to give it a chance. After all, it’s not everyday you find a paranormal romantic erotica.

  The author has surely grown in his writing after his first two novels. I actually felt as if I was this ‘fly on the wall’ throughout this book.
  
  Now, there were a few mistakes, but I easily overlooked them. It was the perfect combination of comedy, drama and magical sex (very unique), and although the author is a man, he did a phenomenal job writing Kat and Alice’s characters.
  
  Besides Fifty Shades I usually don’t purchase novels that are heavy into sex, but Meco’s Compulsion novel is a HUGE exception. It was a hilariously dramatic read that was difficult to put down. Like most erotic novels out there, it did have quite a few sex scenes which were tasteful, but I chose to look at the deeper story. Kat’s brutal childhood, her mysterious power and the three men she’s falling head over heels for. At times, it was even a little sad and you could actually feel Kat's pain as you continue to read. It all made me laugh and cry.
  
  I'm excited to read the second book to see where Kat and her boys will find themselves. I gave this review 5 stars because I feel as though the novel deserved it. It's a shame it's not getting the attention that it should.
  
  I found Compulsion to be captivating, romantic, surprising, and a little dark. Especially towards the end, which I will not spoil. It's definitely a read that I would recommend. Can't wait to dive into the second novel. Great job Meco, great job!
