- I choose this 5 star ratings because of the love, pain, tears, and passion found in this book. Galen had no knowledge that the woman he stole the cab from would eventually steal his heart. Even though he started out thinking one thing about Brittany, his love for her took his thoughts in another direction. Brittany may have been going to Phoenix to find her mother, but she found more than that. She found her best friend, Galen, and a family that loved her more than life itself. Kudos to Galen for having a heart of gold.....
- I love Galen, he's hot,cocky and conniving all rolled into one, what's not to love. This book could have been upsetting with the whole grab it from under her nose thing going on but he was semi honest with her from the start. They both wanted something and they both got it in the end. Brittany needed to loosen up a bit and Galen was just the man to do it. Her story was sweet and sad all at the same time so a hot, sexy, good man was just what she needed. Galen was a deliciously awesome start to the Phoenix clan, lets see if they are as hot as Charlotte Steeles.

- Brenda Jackson is a heck of a storyteller and I look forward to anything she has written because you know it will beauty love making and great story, mystery and beautiful lead characters. Oftentimes, her story are written about supporting characters which is a wonderful thing because you get to know what is happening with your favorite characters.
- This was a sweet LOVE story and Brittany deserved it, she had a hard start in life but in the end she found LOVE of a man and the family that she deserved.
- I really loved this book because it is a true love story. Galen did not know what hit him. True love! I'm glad Brittany found someone to love and someone to love her. I love this entire family already from Mom and Dad to the baby boy Gannon. I can hardly wait for the next book in the series. Keep rocking, Miss Brenda!
- I thought that the book was a pretty good one. My only complaints with the story were that she never truly revealed what happened between Hale and Diane when they were teenagers fully; it left a lot to the imagination and that we never got to understand why Diane was so-- stiff and serious. Otherwise, I thought that the story was fun.
