• One of the best books to use to learn or to review Greek grammar. Very clear and above all succinct. As an MD with an MA in Latin- Greek, I have found this writer one of the finest grammarians of the classical languages. The book reguires close, careful reading and the examples used to illustrate the rules of grammar very well chosen. A book even for those with even a cursory knowledge of ANY grammar!
• The author has laid out the many, many rules and even more exceptions of Classical Greek grammar in a clear, concise, and easy to follow style. This book works best as a refresher course and as a quick reference for someone who already has some acquaintance with Classical Greek but does not want to go poring through a more ponderous reference grammar such as Smyth, which although a masterpiece, can be quite intimidating. The format and sequence of presentation is logical and easy to navigate. The information is dense, fast-paced, and will be confusing for the total beginner; this is not the fault of the author but simply the nature of the language. The material has been streamlined as much as is possible while still remaining a useful reference on Greek grammar. For someone completely new to Greek learning on their own, I would recommend using this book in conjunction with a more slow-paced introductory text. For someone taking a course, this book is perfect to have on hand from the beginning. In all, the author did a great job with this book and it is well worth the price. I look forward to Dr. Coderch's forthcoming books on Latin grammar and the accompanying exercise book, which will make it much easier to practice and retain the information presented in this grammar!
• I own several grammars of ancient greek and this one is by far the friendliest to use. It is a great addition for the library of any student of ancient greek.
  
  If I need an authoritative source for a paper I can always go to Smyth, Goodwin or Schwytzer; but if I need to learn or clarify some point of grammar I think Coderch's work is much more to the point and easier to understand.
